{"id":89,"date":"2008-01-14T15:17:00","date_gmt":"2008-01-14T02:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/leler.com\/blog\/?p=89"},"modified":"2009-03-28T18:08:11","modified_gmt":"2009-03-29T01:08:11","slug":"ushuaia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leler.com\/blog\/ushuaia\/","title":{"rendered":"Ushuaia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So we arrived in Ushuaia tonight, got our luggage, took a taxi to the hotel, settled in, had dinner (yum!) and then went out for a walk, getting back to the hotel around 11:30pm &#8212; just as it was starting to get dark!<\/p>\n<p>Cindy had ravioli stuffed with Fuegan lamb (Fuegan meaning from Tierra del Fuego) and I had a pork chop in orange sauce with ratatouille vegetables.\u00a0 And calafate ice cream for dessert!<\/p>\n<p>Much colder and windier here than at Iguazu!\u00a0 Really beautiful place, surrounded by craggy mountains and wind-swept water.\u00a0 And the hotel we are staying in is really nice.\u00a0 Looks handmade out of wood, with all kinds of cute details.\u00a0 And dinner in the hotel was excellent.<\/p>\n<p>Gotta get some sleep now so we can go sightseeing tomorrow.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So we arrived in Ushuaia tonight, got our luggage, took a taxi to the hotel, settled in, had dinner (yum!) and then went out for a walk, getting back to the hotel around 11:30pm &#8212; just as it was starting to get dark!
